Amidon-Bowen PTA

Friends of Southwest DC made a grant to the Amidon-Bowen Elementary  School PTA in the Summer of 2017, for tablets (iPads) to be used in  preschool, kindergarten, and first grade classes. These tablets are used  to enhance early literacy and engage in science, technology,  engineering, and mathematics (STEM) applications.

FOS board members were invited to visit the school on December 18,  2017, when the teachers and children who use the iPads were in class to  thank FOS for our support. We were delighted with our visit and the  thank-you cards from the children!
